Do you guys install the injectors into the manifold first and then into the head like the book says or is there an easy way? I dont want to tear up my orings playing around trying different things.

Yes, but I call it the injector rail.

Yes, install them on the rail (injector manifold) first. If you use plenty of grease (wheel bearing grease works great) on the o-rings, they will go in and out with plenty of ease :thumb:

Vaseline or dialectric greese on the "O" rings.
I install the injector's in the fuel rails first, then into the head.
After you have the injectors installed, ground out you're fuel pump to check for leaks. The last thing you want to have is a fuel leak when you put the entire intake manifold back on.

How do you guys aim your injectors?? I just kind of eyeballed mine when I installed them. Is it supposed to be easy to rotate them around in the rails/heads even with the rails bolted down?

Personally.. I did mine one at a time due to the funny angle the caps were pointed at. Something like 10 - 15 degrees off the "straight line" of the rail itself. Left the other 2 in so I could always eyeball the angle.

I believe in the factory manual they state the angle in degrees. If I remember right, 5 are at an angle, and one is strait.

Yes, you can rotate the injectors back and forth when they are installed.
