I'm having a hard time getting the tranny mount bolts off. We jacked up the engine about 1/2" to an inch somewhere in that range. Anything else to do?

If you think that's difficult, wait until you try to take the old mount OUT and put the new mount IN. There is very little room between the subframe and the body.

Ok, what I'm wondering is should I just put more force on the bolts, or jack the engine up more. Im not sure which to do and I dont want to break something. Should the top bolts come out first, or does it matter?

I would advice heating the bolt before you go and start torqueing on it.. just get a little propain type blow torch thing... they sell them all over the place and heat the bolts up first... then try and remove them.. Makes it alot easier to remove..
