Transmission Fluid

Hello
I just got back from the auto parts store with several quarts of PENNZOIL DEXRON -III MERCON AUTO MATIC TRANS FLUID. This is what the sales guy said goes in the sho. Is this the correct fluid to use?

Yes, that's what's recommended for both the 92-95 MTX and all years of ATX. 89-91 MTX's required Type F ATF.

anything Penzoil---------------------BAAAAAAAAD!

In the future, try to avoild anything with the quaker state, or penzoil label on it, your sho will thank you...they are mostly remaned fluids (bottom of the barrel) and aren't as good as the Castrols and valvolines or Mobils....
