What all has been done to the tranny's of the guys who are boosting? How long do they last and how long are the engines lasting?

What all has been done to the tranny's of the guys who are boosting? How long do they last and how long are the engines lasting?

Sorry, I haven't check this side (performance) lately. The tranny and especially the torque converter MUST be beefed up before boosting. My car is a daly driver that I enter in local car shows and currently has 126,000 miles on it. The engine was new (had the dreaded cam failure at 94,000 when I replaced it with a new crate motor and decided to supercharge it) So it has been running a supercharger since July of 2002. Only issue I have had enginewise was burning a piston about a year and a half ago when I had a fuel injector start to fail on me and I had bumped the boost to 12 psi.
I am replacing the transmission as a result of a bad line but it was strong up until all the fluid leaked out over 200 miles.
