Does anyone know if the gen 3 ATX from either the slo or the sho will fit a gen 2 ATX?

My neighbor has a totaled gen3 it is a 96 gl 3.0 vulcan, I'm hoping it'll fit in my 94 ATX

i know i already said if you wanted id get you my atx and im waiting on a shipping price but i can assure you ive checked into this before on a different term that no other taurus trans will fit on any SHO.
if you like call a junkyard since they have "swap books" on interchanging of parts on different cars.

A '96-'99 AX4N tranny will not work in a '93-'95 ATX SHO due to fitment and programming differences.
