Well, my trans is being rebuilt. I stopped by the shop to check on it yesterday and the guy that is rebuilding it showed me the parts that failed. There was what he called a "drum" that has some teeth on the inside of it, the teeth were kinda messed up a bit and some kind of metal ring was all broken up. He will be finished with it tomorrow (Friday), but I won't be able to pick up my car until Monday because of my work and school schedule, can't wait!!!!! It has been about two months since I parked it, (put it in the shop just last week), so I am ready get it back on the road finally.
I had a Transgo shift kit installed also. I have never driven a car with a shift kit so can anyone tell me what exactly to expect this thing to feel like?

It will shift hard even when you do not want it to. Your dates will always ask why you are driving so crazy even when you are not. Enjoy.

That's old school...

That used to be the case. When installing a shift kit in a TH-350, all you need is an 1/8" drill bit and throw away a couple of check balls.

Now-a-days, when you do it right, the shifts will be classy and linear. The harder you push the pedal, the harder it'll shift. That's if it's done right.
