Anyone up for a night at Cecil County Dragway?

How about the friday after Carlisle? That would be June 10th.

Gates open at 5pm. Cost, I believe is $18 to race and $12 to watch. All cars running faster than 14.0 must be piloted by a helmeted driver.

Yeah man I should be up for it. I want to race you and see how I do. Maybe I can get my brother with his 500hp camaro up there the same night. Also (shocrazy) wants to met up with me. I want to met up with you. So I was woundering if that fri, if all 3 of us can met up somewhere and head down to the track. I see if he wants to go that fri. How does that sound?

on the dyno or at the track?? Im not sure about the track.. Sense I have only driven the car twice!!!! it broke the first day I got it and, and then i fixed it and the first time i took it out the spindal poped off the balljoint! It is now being fixed. It should be done soon. But atfter I learn how to drive it good, I would like to run about 14.9 with what I have now. Soon it will have cams, P&P intake mani, and heads, fuel upgrade, and 75 shot of NOS. So I hope it will run in the mid 13's then. But yeah I think my car against yours will be close.

If you give my directions on how to get to the Xotic Motorsports ill met you up there. Maybe I can get there in time to see your car make a run.

Heh, you know what? I got my weeks confused. I am actually planning to go to Xotic this Friday on my way to the track. I'm still planning to go to Cecil the week after Carlisle. Any time that you want to make a run to the track, let me know. I usually go there with a couple buddies from work. They have a CTSv and an STi, no problem for me :laugh_ti: .

I'd like to break 200hp when I get my chip back. I hit 195 on Saturday with a rich mixture.

There is a link to a map and directions on their site. Tip: The shop comes up quickly after the first crest past the traffic light.

If you would rather meet at the track, that might be easier since I don't know quite yet what my details are. If I don't have my chip by Thurs., I will not be on the dyno or going to the track. I am itching to see what the car will do on the track. I got new ES100s a couple weeks ago, front Koni struts and cams. A few of those ET calculators predicted that I would gain 3 tenths on my ET. Well see if that comes true. I'll bring a helmet just in case

They cann't really ***** at you if you run your first time and break 13's. I mean you don't know. Because my brother ran his car the first time and ran a 12.5. I don't think he wore a helmet. I don't think you can make another run unless you have a helmet tho. Because my bro only made one run. Anyway, are you going to be running on june 10th?? Do you still just want to met up somewhere down here in exton and then, SHOcrazy, you, and me can all just go down together.

There was one other SHO aside from mine. I didn't know the person or recognize him from the forum.

Weather sucked, but it didn't rain. Temps hovered around 80, and you could cut the air with a knife. My times were all between 15.1 and 15.3 with speed between 93 and 95 MPH. Something was up with my launch, since I was about a tenth slower than normal.

Considering the conditions, I believe that the changes I have made since my last time at the track would be good for two or three tenths improvement.

You may have read my mind. I'm planning on going to Cecil this Friday. Should be a better night than last time. Fyi, a coworker of mine is likely to be going with me to see if he can get his CTSv into the 12s. 13.3 is his best so far (stock).

I might go once again after this Friday before the convention.

Just wondering why you don't go to Maple Grove? It is much closer.

There's really no difference in the time or distance to either track. Friday nights at Cecil is $12 while Maple Grove is $25. I can usually count on making as many runs as I wish (six last week).

I don't have anything against Maple Grove, I guess I'm just used to Cecil.
