I found the harder to find torque vectoring sho video and how it works from Ford

A couple more i still have yet to find from 2013, one was for auto octane and performance difference for 87-93 octane

Best bet would be to look for videos about the Focus RS its got an amazing system

It's concept with the PTU and RDU are very similar to the SHO.

As a picky engineer, that's not torque vectoring. That's the cheap man's way of simulating TV. Lexus LC500 or GS-F uses true vectoring where no brake is applied. Instead, power is pushed to the outside wheel through the LSD. I feel like that would be brake vectoring.

That's what is done on the R.S. and some Lincolns.

skyshadow07, please explain how the differential has the ability to push more power to the outside wheel.

Unlike traditional mechanical differentials, the TVD employs both mechanical and electronic means to determine the distribution of torque.
It features a pair of multi-plate clutches; electric motors control the amount of pressure applied to the clutches via a small valve, called a ball-cam actuator. The level of pressure the motors apply to the clutches determine the level of torque that is distributed to each of the rear wheels during acceleration and deceleration. Funny fact, because of their complexity a standing burnout will destroy the differential.

They move power instead of brake? Nice.

Yes. The PTU is overdriven allowing more than 50% power to go to the rear wheels on the RS and hence drift mode.

The RDU doesnt have an ATC clutch like our SHO, but two clutches that conect each half shaft to the differential so that power can be sent to one, or both rear wheels in controllable percentage.

Man instead of Ford dropping the whole Taurus line they should of made a grand SHO.
Police motor 3.0 eccoboost twin turbo 400/415 hp/tq new police version AWD, performance package is the police upgrades, add that badass 10 speed and let us line up to buy!

I would want the F150 EB 3.5 with the 10 speed sending power to the rear at all times. Then with a transfer case and front RDU, have the ability to send power to the front tires on demand.

Has anyone looked at the Lincoln Avaiator grand touring? 630 lb-ft of torque.

This is already posible. It's called a torque on demand transfer case. Been in production for years allowing awd and not full 4wd.

I get that, the GTR has one I believe. I want what my SHO does now, just reversed.
