got on the throttle on the way to work and car wanted to wander a bit. I was trying to not get to aggressive with the steering but am wondering how everyone else deals with it? Should I check for worn bushings? 2013 has 88k on it. Would lowering the car help or make it worse? It did feel like it was getting air underneath the front end.
thanks for your input.

How fast were you going? Does it do it all the time or is this a isolated incident? Was the road crowned? Lowering the car will help with overall performance, however there are many other variables.

guess I was around 100. Road might have a slight crown but never noticed before. Torque steer is there more often than not. I put a tune on it which makes it more noticeable. But am hoping that there is something that can be done to eliminate it or soften it up some.

Do you put it in sport mode when you full send it? Mind telling me what tune you have in it? How are your tires? Are they newer? I have a 13 pp with 69K miles on it. It has a newer pair Conti Extreme DWS 06's on it, and I am willing to bet I make significantly more power then most and my torque steer is minimal. The car is quite predicable. Point it straight and it goes straight. My Focus ST on the other hand is not, you have to drive that little bastard because the wheel hop and torque steer is really prevalent.

Go to a shop and have the front end inspected, **** just for piece of mind.

You should not be having major torque steer... Occasionally I will step on it and it will pull the wheel for a hot second but not very hard.. pretty much unnoticeable unless the roads are wet or heavily crowned...

Even on my 2010 which was putting down SILLY power with Brads tune I would rarely ever notice the torque steer.

Take it to a shop for a front end shake down and make sure nothing is loose or worn down.

Tie rods go most often, with lca's a distant second. Swaybar bushings hardly ever. Strut mounts, rarely ever, but not connected to this particular issue. Though shocks and struts could be. Check for leaks.

Thanks for the input guys, come to think of it the road was a little wet, I could have been spinning and the light not come on?
I bought my tune from 5 star, not sure what the HP numbers are. I am due for tires. Been awhile since I drove a front wheel drive, and being AWD was hoping the wheel spin would be minimal. Kind of why I traded Shelby for this.
Again thanks for the input, I'll be getting tires next week and see how it does after the tire change.

I've had multiple experiences (untuned) where I can get on it, and I know one wheel is slipping slightly and the traction light is not flashing. So I know it's possible.

Would love to know how you feel about 5-star - they are a sponsor for our V10 forum at ford-trucks.com and would like to patronize them...

so far liking the power. Been raining so much I have not really enjoyed it to the fullest. Waiting for the track to open and give it a run see how it does.

5-Star has a good rep in the truck community. Nothing against them but personally I would stick with a tuner more experienced with the transverse 3.5. You're not too far from me, you are welcome to take a ride in my tuned car.

I agree with this.
