I'm having a few instances of hesitation or tranny slipping?

At lower RPM's, but not every single time, it seems like my SHO starts to studder and rumble a little bit, and then it
appears to shift into the lower gear (RPM's go up about 250 or so) and then its fine.

Has anyone had an experience with this and if so, what was it?

I would love some help/advice with this matter.

You have posted this in two places, so it would be best to keep it to one. I answered it already at the other, and yes, it sounds like it could easily be the torque converter. Lets only keep this thread running at one place though. Which one is up to you, but it is likely best here, since it is not thus far sounding like an major problem.

i had the exact same issue at 80K. the question is "can you live with it?"
i could not and opted for a rebuild (vs. an OEM Aamco or Dealer swap).
that way i was able to install a Trans-go shift kit and upgrade the TC.
the rebuild cost less than a OEM swap, but i had less warranty period.
however, i'm very happy with the results after 15K and 2 years.
i've also added an X-Cal 1 programmer.

what you can do for now is try a couple of options:
1) add Dr. Tranny Shudder Fix (it'll either help or hurt it completely)
2) add an X-Cal 1 or 2 programmer which will lock-up the TC quicker between shifts.
