if that's the ATX trans there's one with 115k on it at the U pull it in North Omaha. it might be in need of a rebuild though because the car it's in didn't get hit. the car was stock down to the silencer cone still being there so I doubt it was abused.

Hey man find a price. I am trying to get the last 1/3 of my exterior rebuilt before winter hits. My adjoining neighbor wants to paint also.. but I don't see how in **** that is going to happen.. if we time it right.. January warmup is a good possibility.. so anyway I am just mad-busy with work :(

were you at k state today, and what does your SHO look like.. because i saw a red gen 2 as well...

Naw it isn't.. BUT it is in Salina at my dad's still. I am getting it in a couple weeks on the outside though  can't wait!! :woot:

thats the auto to the 96 to 99 i belive

They started putting the AX4N as the trans' sometime early/mid 94. They continued on and in 2002 it is standard on all engines. 93' was the only year for the AX4S trans' in the SHO.. well that and early/mid 94. :)

it's in a 93 so from the sounds of things it isn't what you are looking for. I did walk the entire ford section looking around for parts and they do have a few 96-99 SLOs and one or two 96-99 Sables also. i know a couple of them have the 3.0L duratec. Do you need a metric trans or are they all metric?

If you happen to come across a 94 or 95 there that is ATX let me know... I am not for certain what all is involved with a stardard vs. SHO AX4N. I have all my books and articles and what not on the "S" but decided it is ludicrous to rebuild the one I have if even Ford changed from the design.. just doesn't seem worth it, AND getting a D4U1 computer and using it on a synchronized trans seems to add troubles to the equation... oh well. Tell you what, I will try to free up some time, would like to meet you and the NEB crew :) I can't wait to get her rolling again outta first and reverse:woo-hoo:

Nice!

Ya, I've seen quite a few, the gen2's though not so much. I know there is a white and silver gen3 here as well.
