I'm in the same boat with my wife. Anytime I put her car in manual mode, she freaks out, and tells me that I'm going to break it. I've tried to desensitize her with scandanavian flicks and handbrake slides, power sliding around corners, drifting around in the snow....... It hasn't workedI get this text from my wife today and had to laugh. I'm a automotive technician so I showed all the guys at the shop and hilarity ensued. In her defense she's never driven a stick or anything with a manual mode lol. Thought you guys might get a good laugh.
hahahaha ... My wife would tell me to stop laughing at her. She'll ask me about something car related, when I start to explain it, her eyes glaze over. I inevitably respond with "I don't know why I even bother, you don't understand!" She just laughs. I still love her, though!
