Bought some tokicostruts .... used of course ..... and have a question

they seem to be in good shape and arent leaking

The tech said the motorcraft struts for the front seemed to have more dampening force the the tokicos

the rears though seem more firm than the factor struts

One thing i felt is that when you push the strut in its harder to have ot rebound ... or to pull out

and i also observed the rears seem to be more firm

my tech wanted me to know to put them in but i said go ahead... just wanted to know more about the struts .... i had them years ago but its been awhile

Konis & Tokicos are the only ones with enough balls to handle stiffer-than-stock springs.

Well, other than the coilovers.

Your tech is "misinformed". I could have called him "ignorant", but I was being nice.

Walk away from that tech!!

Hi Don!

Well, ya never know with used struts. They can still be leaking internally. ****, give 'em a try, not like there's other choices out there in struts!

Don, there is a thread on here somewhere about getting tokico's revalved and all that if they're not up to regular unit spec or if they fail in the future. No cheap but info to have for a rainy day. Strut dyno isn't a bad idea if you can locate one.
