Tokico Struts - Same for Taurus?

Yesterday, I was quoted $95.28/front strut and $99.57/rear strut at
O'Reilly's for my '93 SHO...

Today, to confirm that price, they said the Tokico's are not
available for the SHO...well, are the Tokico struts the same for a
regular Taurus? IF so, maybe that's the mistake...

Also, so you know, O'Reilly's also quoted me $290 for a set of
Eibach's...

All 86-95 Taurus sedan's are the same, just to be sure the Tokico's front's are P/N HB5002 and rears are HB5003.

You can find eibachs for cheaper than that and the price for those Tokicos is about the going price.

some will agree with me, others wont, but i feel the Eibachs are too soft. cant go wrong with modified Cargo Coils at $100/set of 4 ! Tokicos + Cargo Coils= match made in heaven.

Kenny how's the ride, sports performance or stock feel?

Much stiffer and more responsive than stock. Almost harsh.

Highway crusing is fantastic. Onramps are are a joy.

But around town, expecially in this pothole-infested town, the ride is a bit harsh. My SHO has a few new rattles now

Amaizingly, the Monroe struts seem to be holding up. But even if they do die, they are free to replace

im very pleased with my setup. not too bad in the city driving, no worse than id expect a stock suspension to handle. very nice ride on the highway. aggressive twisties and she really shines. if it wasnt for Kenny and his research, i would have never thought about buying the Cargo Coils. the both of us seem to know our poopoo when it comes to the Cargo Coils.
