Rubber kind....

Do you mean brands/models? I am using Hankook Ventus K102... They don't make them anymore, but they are a great tire for the money. :)

half-way there, I think.
Well.... what are you after?? High Performance? All Seasons? Studded snows? I know Jason loves those Hankook tires. I run a summer only High Performance Tires, since my car is not a daily driver and hardly ever sees bad weather.

If you are looking for a great all-season tire with a ton of grip and decent snow traction, take a look at the BFG G-Force KDWS. I had them and loved them.

Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercars EMT. But I doubt you could get them on a SHO. I loved the Yokohama AVS ES100 I had on my Accord. They would not break loose.

I had owned nothing but Yokohamas since I started using them on my SHO. Love 'em! :****:

Dunlop SP Sport A2. They are excellent All Season Tires, but SHO's are a bit rough on the tires, don't expect more than 20k-30k life out of them.

I was going to get the BFG KDWS, but the cheapest I found then in 235/45/17 was $231 Canadian after like 4 months, then I got a set of Fusions for $169 Cnd a pop.

I also looked at the Pirelli P Zero Nero M+S, but they were on back order "indefinitly".

I run Toyo Proxies on all my cars but you can find better tires for the price, I just like the tread pattern. :burn_out:

I's using a set of Fuzions (Bridgestone/Firestone/Dayton) on my car. No problems yet, but they suck in snow. Dry or wet though they do their job well especially when considering their price.

I asked one of the local Firestone guys about the Fuzions since I hadn't seen any real reviews of them. He said they don't really compare to any of the Bridgestone/Firestone tires performance-wise, that they are a lower quality tire. He gave me the impression that they are more of a show/looks tire than a real performance tire.

I think you're right on that.
Yokohama has a tire called the Parada that looks very cool but isn't really a performance tire. Most of its sizes are for small import cars (What does that tell you? :D ).

Dunno about that, I did A LOT of readings on these Fuzions before I bite the bullet, mostly every single post regarding them on different boards, Tirerack, 1010tires, etc are positive.

Only thing people don't know is treadwear.

I have Firestone Firehawk SZ50 (?) tires
I have to drop the clutch at 5500 RPM to keep from bogging at the track, and the traction in the rain is incredible. I did a TON of research on tirerack.com reviews before buying these off of ebay, they were number 2 on my list.
