Traction rating is too broad, and doesn't represent real world. Try to find something other than A.
I have run numerous sets of 200 treadware tires (Hankook, Falken, Michelin), and that is my preference. 220 is close enough.
Treadware is rather comparable across tire mfrs. Pure summers are generally below 300. Tried my first Pirelli, tires, PZ4s (280 treadware), and they've done quite well, including track days at Gingerman and PittRace, on a 4400# car. If I went to a 200-220, that would likely be 2 pair during the 10k mile summer season (I'm at just under 10k since the end of April).
Braking and handling are much more apparent if you do track days, but better braking performance can be felt on the street.
