Has anyone had to deal with the snow chains /cables issue?
Well that's what I'm doing now and so I'm here to try and get the right info and this place has always done me right
So here's I go !
I'm looking for information on what set of tire chains/cables are right for my 1992 SHO tire size is 215/60R16 and I have very little space between the strut and the tire I would say quarter inch so what instead of cables should I get for my car?

Any help is greatly appreciated

Thank you

I have carried chains in my car, but I recall only putting them on once. I typically had snow tires installed so chains were not needed. I know they make car tire socks for winter driving but have not tried them. There are many brands out there, but more expensive than chains

If your 92 still has stock front brakes, then a smaller tire size/rim will fit. I had a set of snow tires on 205/65/15 standard Taurus rims and they fit fine over stock 92 front brakes. Chains cleared that size tire since that was the stock tire size for a Gen 2 Taurus.
