Has anyone had any trouble with the tire rubbing on the lower spring mount on the front end? I have that problem on the left hand side of my '93. It did have a broken sway bar end link, but I put a new one on it. I'm still having it rub on the tire. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

wrong size tires, wrong wheel offset, or a bent spindle

Have you hit that side or the car on anything? How did you break the end link?

I am actually trying to get this back up and going. It has been sitting for about 12 years. I went over som RR tracks and the ball came out of the socket. It has gen 3 wheels on it, as my wife gave away my slicers about 5 years ago. I will post the tire size as soon as I get overe to the garage where it is.

Those tires shouldn't rub. It's either an issue with the strut, the knuckle or how they are attached. Some people like to lower the strut in the knuckle instead of purchasing lowering springs, and maybe that was done just a little too far.

I would check to see if the pinch bolt runs though the 'loop' in the strut first, then you may have to take it to a competent alignment shop and have them give it a good check over.
