hey, whats up? My first post. Actually found out about this forum from a piece of paper that someone put under the wipers of my 95.
Have had it since May and it currently has 43,000 miles on it and havnt had any problems with it except that the little piece of metel that pushes the fuel door open has rusted and broken off, any quick and easy ways to fix that? Now to my real question. I think the origianal tires are still on it so they are starting to get a little low on the tread, so that IF I use them this winter i will replace them in the spring. I say IF because i probably should get some snow tires living in the snowbelt. If I am correct I believe that the base tires that they put on my car were all season tires, the Goodyear Eagle GT II's, but do to the fact that the tread is starting to get a little low, the driving this winter on them would be interesting. So my question is should I get snow tires and if so what type? And would the said tires be able to be mounted on the standard alloy wheels that came with my car? What i would like to do is next spring when i switch back to my non-snow tires i want to get some new wheels, and probably put the Goodyears on those and get me through the the summer till i go back to the snow tires. And finaly get some new performance tires the following spring(wow i'm really looking into the future ain't I) And suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt
