I am trying to replace the stock assembly with a new Monroe Quick strut but I can't seem to get the old one off. There's not enough room for it to come free. And I don't know how to remove the SARC. It says "Contents under pressure do not open"

Does anyone have any advice or pictures or anything? Thanks.

Front or rear? You don't remove the SARC from the strut. You follow the wire from the unit built into the strut to the connector under the car, unplug it and remove the strut/spring assembly from the hub/knuckle with the SARC sensor and wire attached. The big hex shaped nut on the strut body does not come off.
You have to remove the swaybar endlinks before you remove the strut/spring. You lower the hub/knuckle low enough until you can remove the strut. There are more parts that have to come off. In the rear you have to remove the trailing arms at the knuckle and then remove the tension strut from the bottom of the hub. The front also has stuff that may need to be removed, like the axle, to get enough play to move the hub low enough. Run a search here to get good instructions/tips from old posts.
