Tints finished

Had a local shop do my tints. 15% on the front and 5% all around back.

Funny story, I know a girl that had just gotten her windows tinted and when she showed up to the place we were going to eat at, she yelled across the parking lot, "check out my tints!" From where this older gentleman and I were standing, it didn't sound like "tints," I explained it to her while we were eating and we still laugh about it to this day.

Moral of the story, be careful who you show your tints to, or at least how far you yell for them to check 'em out.

If it was the **** she proudly displayed after having been pulled over, I'm fairly confident a mere warning alone, would have resulted.

I roll all the windows down and turn on the dope lights when pulled over. I also have paperwork in hand and I prepare for descalation

I did the gloss black myself, I made a video on it it’s somewhere on the forums. There are shops that will do chrome deletes for you though.

That’s why when I lived up North I always had them done state legal. So when I moved I requested mine be done South Carolina legal. That’s where I live now, the vehicle is titled and was purchased. But when I did the windshield, even here, I had to sign a waver. Back to the pulled over part, I’ve had the opportunity for multiple road side conversations with SCHP. Received warnings and went to court and beat the one I did get with my dash cam still shots. All for speed. But, to your point, the tint was never given a passing glance. Maryland and Virginia they would have been all over that!
