Since it seems many folks are doing front end work, maybe someone can tell me if the tie rods have separate inner ends, or if I need to buy the whole tie rod to get the inner ends?

The outer tie rod ends screw onto the tie rod. The tie rod is turned to change the toe-in by an alignment shop. There is a separate inner rod end.

You can buy the inner tie rods separately. You'll need a loooooooooooooong socket to remove it from the rack.

you can use the socket, or they have diffrerent ways on getting the inner rod out. When i did my inner and outer rods, i could have used a Crow's foot, but i couldn't find one that was that big, so I went to pep boys, and they had a special tool to take out the inner rods. its about a foot/14 inches long, and you take the inner rod, and insert it in the tool, then attach a ratchet to the end, slide the rod too the rack and tighten...viola!

Good luck man
