I have this ticking sound coming from the passenger side of my SHO. It increases with engine speed and it sounds like it is right near the crank pulley. Could this be the idle pulley that is bad?

Most likely a worn timing belt is "walking" off the crank pulley and slapping against the timing belt cover. Been there..done that.

Is there any other way to find out? I just did the 60K in the summer and the timing belt had already been replaced and looked good.
