How do I remove the throttle cable on my '97. It's keeping me from getting the rest of the intake off to clean it. Thanks in advance!

Pop it off. The cruise control actuator cable pops "up" (towards the hood), and the throttle cable pops "out" (towards the firewall).

FWIW, you can remove the surge tank and runners without removing the throttle body. I always leave the TB in place when I pull the surge tank and runners.

Exactly what I needed to know. I'm just taking it all off so I can spray it all down and get all the carbon out. Thanks for the quick response.
