AST's. I just put a set of these on one of our cars and am happy with them so far. No snow experience yet though.

712's. I have these on my SHO and I'm really happy with them. But I wouldn't recommend them for winter use though. :p

I have the 712's for summer, and then a set of ecsta HP4's for winter. Very happy with both.

Kumho MX, awesome & cheap performance summer tire, then get snows. Had the MX on my 911, best "cheap" summer tire I've had - increased the offramp speeds considerably over the Nittos.

Better than most "summer / performance" tires I've had, but not as well as the Toyos I had on the SHO, for example. However, the Toyo T1-R / T1-S isn't anywhere near the MX in price, it's more along the lines of the pricier brands now vs. the "cheap Korean / Japanese" manufacturers.
