Jay, the wife concurs, it's "too much black". Of course, this is the same woman who told me the 911 is the "ugliest car ever made".

I bet those would look HOTT on a red gen 2!

Yes they would... of course, if I hadn't needed tires so badly, I'd have negotiated for the suspension parts instead. My old coilovers & FPS rear arms are very gooooooood things. I didn't realize one of the wheels now has a couple of dings in it, looks like perhaps when Paul trailered the car off originally one of his tie-downs moved a little. Not that big of a deal, I'm thrilled to finally retire the old dry-cracked Turanzas & that Blizzak I've been driving around on. :oogle:

Last thing to do I guess is the black / gold powdercoated intake & covers, and the gold body detailing (the door inlay stripes & lettering filled, maybe that dual hockey-stick stripe or a pinstripe following the bulge hood outline, like I was thinking for the mocha), and replace the steering wheel. Yeah, after I do those things, then I'll get the $9k in the car back, right? :laugh_ti:

Pat - how the heck did you finagle the roll bar out of him anyway?

We've gotta be the most in-bred crew in the country for parts swapping. Tell you what Jay, for $800 you can have the powdercoating off the wheels.

Fred, check out the wheels I posted up in the gen 3 area.

Jay, you need to offer him MORE than his investment. OR just wait a couple weeks...knowing fred he will get bored with them quick enough

I once had a shipping box I shipped off w/ parts to somebody (can't remember) come back from a SHO NUT (I believe) order. Now THAT'S sad....
