Back when I first got my SHO I was on the hunt for pretty much everything. That's why I wanted it....to surprise the shit out of ppl. Here I was LMS Tuned, t Stat, Airaid, plugs, no meth, stock exhaust. Notable was a Subaru STI with suspension, exhaust don't know what else, I started hunting him in traffic....I usually see those cars tailgating the shit out of ppl....so here I am...hunting him down through traffic and then tailgating the shit out of him. He knew what was up. Traffic spread out and he chose the right lane, he was first at the Red light, me sitting behind. You could just sense he was going to floor it...and so I watch the cross traffic light...turn yellow...I anticipate green, brake boost a second....green...he goes I'm already right there...I take left lane and see ya at the top of 2nd I'm already gone. Then when lights and traffic brought us both back together with him behind me, he was done, no more fight left in that guy.
Now I'm still LMS Tuned and catless downpipes now and muffler deletes. I had a V6 Charger see me in traffic, doesn't he come from way back and zoom by me....so I followed him into McDonald's parking lot....asked him you trying to race that thing or what? We talked a little but nothing came of that but I told him to call me if he wants to race. A couple months later I get a text from him, says he's got a buddy with a 500whp STI and if I want to race...I'm like sure. I'm at the gym, so I told him to come by the gym. I'm outside waiting for an STI to show up, well I guess it was supposed to be a surprise...bc there was no STI, it was a Black Charger SRT8, he said it had a Diablo tune and intake, exhaust. I said ok. So we drove to this short highway extension and we decided on a 40 roll....so I'm driving next to him at 40....he starts to slow down even further...I'm like wtf is he doing.....I start slowing down in bewilderment bc we agreed on 40mph...like how did this agreement get screwed up? So I'm slowing down....then he's flashing his headlights at me...like wtf does that mean....wtf is he doing? Mind you we don't need traffic...hello!? So I floor it.....he takes off too....I had the jump but he was 8 or 9 car lengths behind...could never gain on me. After he said he was flashing me to do a 20 roll instead....how would I know that's what that meant? He was like you're fast....I told him let's do it again another time and never heard from him again.
I had a Hyundai Genesis Coupe try me twice, first time he passed me on a twisty road...I was like ok...so then I passed him while he was still getting after it haha....luckily no cars coming in the opposite direction. Next time I saw him again on the same road I attacked the STI...we got to the section it opens up and theres less traffic...I just heard is car as he went WOT and I floored it...bye again...
I had the one Diesel truck puffing black smoke on me leaving the gym, he then slows down around the left turn we're both taking...I knew he was about to floor it and blow smoke on me again so I floored it, missed his smoke and passed him while he was giving it the business....then I put my hands out the window...like what now? He just looked defeated.
I had a Blue Mustang 2017+ swore it said anniversary addition on it...pull up next to me at a double right hand lane turn...I knew what was about to happen....floored it...he's right behind me...but that's where he stayed....lol...and then later we both got on the interstate...I floor it again...he didn't even try...he was done.
After I switched to meth and still on LMS tune, I took some guys for a ride...they wanted a ride in it after installing meth. One guy had a EVO with 468awhp he said...the other with 2012 Audi S4 stage 2 he said ran a 12.6. So I kind of floored it leaving where we were...they were like wow...what was that part throttle...I'm like...uh...I sort of floored it...they were like oh. Then I bring them to that partial highway extension....brake boost launch and ran it to 120mph. They were impressed but the guy with the EVO said...it's definitely faster than my Acura RSX....??? Ok? I said let's go back to the Circ and race in the double lanes...they were like no that's a pretty good incline.....but isn't it an incline for all of us??????? They seemed content with trying to come off like it was quick...but not that fast...but they are too busy to race....ok...
Here Im AJP Turbo tuned, full exhaust. Had a group of kids in a newer Subaru Forester I believe? With the 2.5 turbo? Hovering next to me, windows down, looking at me...speeding up and slowing down....I was in disbelief...I floored it and dusted them. They tried...could hear that aftermarket exhaust working overtime...then they pull up to the next light...2 passengers with hands out the window, thumbs up. Lol!
Last year after my first track outing and getting an 11.89 I was driving home from NH and took a early exit...Idk why I'll listen to what my son recommends sometimes haha...it was the ********* back roads of all time...I said out loud why did I listen to you lol! We came upon a decked out Subaru STI again.....he was about to turn on our road as we went by. So I can hear him catching up to us....great...not really in the mood...so we came up on a car going pretty slow...I figured it was a matter of time so I passed that car, he's right behind...but then I came up on another car....so I passed them....and he couldn't safely pass after that ...and I thought good bc I'm not trying to race on these ****** roads...but I will...but I'd rather not. So turns out we went the wrong way...so we find out way back to the road we wanted....well bc of our speed ...even though we went the long way we made it back to the road he was on...and don't we drive in eye shot of him getting back on the road he's already on, and now here he comes...great...I didn't want to do this...so he gets behind me...I floor it...I must have seen 110 on this road...I'm cringing as my rear tires keep scraping the inner fender liners bc my rear springs are cut...so it's lower and the 1" spacers ...I look in my rear view...at times it looked like the front of his car came off the ground...it was a situation where bc we were going so fast down that road...it was probably better for out cars as we flew over a lot of the dramatic dips in the cracked pavement....I end up letting off and I was done...this road sucks! He also was done then he's pointing for me to pull over. I found a place to pull over...he's like whats done to this thing? I have a lot done to my car and you were pulling away from me! Lol he took pics of my car and everything. We both agreed that road absolutely sucks! He lived down the street. Lol.
Lately I've been just getting revved at from cars passing in the opposite lane.
