The NIGHTMARE continues (I hate these cars part 2)

So, I get my car back yesterday, after paying for a timing belt I didn't need etc and I decide to take her for a HARD run today since I had no chance to do so yesterday.

Upon heavy acceleration, my car bogs down at the start and doesn't really want to pull untill the secondaries kick in. NOW WHAT IS THAT ALL ABOUT!
I contacted them in a fit of rage and they are clueless as to why my car is doing it. Could something be thrown off on the timing so the engine is not responding to my throttle postition/acceleration? They tried to tell me my cpu needs to learn the new idle etc and that the air/gas mixture etc is not re-learned and that it may be affecting the acceleration due to the fact that they had the bat disconnected and it hasn't learned yet. I told then that was bs as I have reset my idle several times in my gen 1/2/3's and acceleration performance never suffered. I am totally nuts with this place.

So my question... What do you all think is going on? Is the timing belt position off?

I used to be able to squeek the tires with jumping on the accelerator only half way, now I cant even sqeek em at full throttle cause the car is bogging.

I am so angry about this I could ****.

what all was done bro? Was it something with the fuel system? I know that when I changed the fuel filter it had a big improvement on things, the accel. response and alll. It seems like from what you said something to do with fuel, run some codes and get back to us on it.

yup, and it is pretty new. Car didn't do anything hesitant prior to my visit to the shop and they did the whole bend me over deal which you know about.

I assuming the "yup" refers to the K&N? The oil from the filter may have fouled the MAF. You can clean it, so it's nothing big. Both my cars came with K&N filters, I have taken them both out. I am running a stock paper filter on the '92 and the Pro-M cone paper filter on the '95

Well if the car ran fine before he brought it in, and they did a timing belt, possible they're off a tooth? It's not that hard to be off and the car should still run pretty smooth but performance would suck. That would be my guess. I know when I did my timing on my ATX there was some guess work with timing the crank and the little dot. Anyone??
