I haven't driven the SHO at night lately, but last night I was about a 3 min away from the house and my headlights turned off and back on. The first thing I did was turned off the autolamps and used the the light switch instead and this didn't help either. I turned the stereo off and when the lights flashed on and off for a third time and I could here a clicking sound till they stayed on. I didn't notice any interior lights fading or the stereo fading in and out. Anyone have any ideas?

Have you checked your dimmer/autolamp switch? I've had headlight and fog light probs because of these switches. Were the headlights the only thing affected?

What kind of clicking sound? Does it sound like it's coming from inside the dashboard behind the gauge cluster? I notice a clicking noise when I turn the multi-function switch to turn windshield wipers on/off and adjust speeds. This sometimes causes some of my instrument panel lights to not work for several days, brights indicator for example.

Headlights were the only thing I noticed. The stereo, clock, and climate control all stayed on. I don't think the gauges went out, but I couldn't tell bc my reverse glo gauges stay on when the car is started. The clicking noise seems to be the same as when the autolights come on.

Basically get a replacement from the JY and swap it in. All you have to do is remove the cover and unplug the switch then replace. I have a known good replacement I can send you if you want.
