I wanted to thank everyone that attended for helping make the 2005 International SHO Convention a big success. We had 110 registered cars, and many more that just SHOwed up.
The weather cooperated for the most part and we got all events in as scheduled except for a late start to the drags caused by lightning the night before.
Yes it was hot and humid, but SHO folk are a sturdy lot and much too tought to let that slow them down (OK, it slowed me down a little!).
The SHOw was great, with some expected and some unexpected winners. Congrats to Paul and Rosetta Thomas for breaking through to Best of SHOw Judged after years of being just one or two points away from the top honor. That they kept the car in TOP condition year after year is real dedication and talent.
PUtnam Park was as good as I expected, with everyone having a good time. And the food! WE got lots of complements and amazed looks at the quality of steak in the Hoosier state. But what do you expect....they use all that corn for more than flakes. In case anyone can't tell, I LOVE searching out new and fun places to eat.
Again, thanks to everyone, especially Beth from SHOForum and the SHOForum members for making contributions to the Red Cross benefit event, helping us raise another $4000 to help people here in North America.
