I just bought a 1995 red mtx yesterday. 129K It had the surge/ misfire issue I new it had the prob but figured I could fix it after reading all the comments in here. Well I changed the coill, and the dis and I thiought the dis was the culprit.I drove it for awhile and great then started the same prob again- so I did the wire wiggle test and whoop there it is!! It was the connector coming fron the crank sensor it wasint in its keeper so I put it in and it runs awesome!! Thank you all I love this site!!!
