awsome day at the autocross, i have never seen so many SHo's at an event. thanks everyone for coming out, everyone dig an awsome job and really made SHOs look good. congrats on sam's car being in the top ten for day one. the orange gen 1 also put down some really good numbers, but all of the shos looked good out there, i think everyone in Triad knows what a SHO is now.

Never been prouder to be a SHO owner... thanks guys.

Quick Re-Cap.

Once Zach Buttoned down, the kid proved he can drive. I was very impressed with Zachs driving and the car.

Justin (SVOFanatic) also did some great driving, Kept up very well considering he has a full weight SHO.

Kevin Spann actually raced his car. Got a decent time then quickly found the limit of his car (your supposed to do that!).

Terry's Gen III is fast as shit around the course, except when the battery decides to not be where it is supposed to be.

R-Compounds FTW! My car did fantastic! However, I did let a pro driver take a few runs in it, he promptly sheared a motor mount bolt. Thanks To Terry for making a quick fix for me (Its better then ever!).

Videos and pictures will be posted sometime this week, in the mean time, I am extremely tired.

Also, my car did not make the top Ten on day one, there was a cone on that run apparently...damn!

Results can be found here. Don't worry about PAX times. Final is how fast you ran in your class. Raw is Overall times for every car that ran.

Results for yesterday are up, today's results should be up tonight or tommorow.

I did awful in the fun runs, then tried to take out an RX-7 and quit. I think I'm going to try a 22/23 F/R swaybar combo....car is currently too loose for me to drive.

My fastest run that was clean was 37.9. Thanks again to everyone who showed up. And thanks to everyone complimenting me on my driving.

Thanks to sam for getting this all together ad introducing me to autocross. Thanks to terry for the advice and the awesome ride along. Thanks to kevin for actually doing something. Great turnout. Cant wait to do it again.

Sounds like the good stuff happened the day after Andi and I left. Darn it!! But I can say that you guys have Andi hooked now and she didn't even ride with anyone. She wants to give one her SHOs a run now. After hearing that Terry's Gen 3 did so well, that may be her calling.

And it sucks Sam that you and I couldn't take out my "land yacht" to see how it would do. It was an intense run in Ashley's car (be sure to thank her again for letting me ride with you) and I can say it would really test the capability of what the Gen 4 can do against the Generations out there.

And congrats to all of those who took their SHOs out there and let 'em rip. That's what its all about. Getting out there and trying new things, well, not new to Sam anyways. Looking forward to the next auto-X event, perhaps in a warmer month next time.

Oh, and thanks to Sam for helping arrange this, and for giving me a place to sleep Saturday night, since I decided to stay.

Hate to tell you, but there must of been a mixup there. You did well regardless, next time take it out of 1st gear. =)

-Sam

Yeah I figured as much, you're always giving me bad news, what's up with that? :p

I took it out of 1st, really found my grove once I was able to get around 5k in 2nd ;) Wheelspin...

Thanks for everything Sam, I'm addicted now and that gives me an excuse to spend money on the SHO.
