Let me see If i have this correct:

To test if it is broken I am supposed to have the car off and in neutral.

Then I have someone turn the steering wheel side to side and I look at the intake to see If it moves at all. If it moves then I have a broken subframe?

Also, the play in my steering wheel seems 100% perfect when I turn left, but when I try to turn right It seems looser with the play in it. i do have cupped rear tires right now but I don't think that's causing the play in the steering wheel.

And I also have new outer tie rods and it's been aligned and tires are balanced..
