Temp guage sits at ??

Where on the guage does the needle usually sit while at normal operating temp?

Mine sits pretty high... don't want to cook it.

It can depend...on my car, it sits at around the O or R, because I replaced the thermostat with a 190 degree one. There is also a 180 degree t-stat (which my car did have at one time), which makes that needle sit at around the M or A. As long as the needle never reaches the red, you'll be OK.
