tachometer and shift lights

Hey, I was wondering if anyone did this before and knew more about it. I am trying to install three LED lights that will illuminate at different RPM's. Example: 5000rpm yellow light, 6000 yellow light, 7000 red light.

Now does anyone know if thats possible to do from the regular tachometers or maybe a tach controller , or do you have to find a way to talk to the ECU and programm the LED's.

You need 2 of them! You can wire them DIS... The red one looks like a shift light, but the bulb will be red and not yellow! How ever, I wouldn't want the 2 tie in at all, I would want them to be way different, and not on the same light for sure

I was thinking of putting completely different LED, not the regular shift lights.
