What runs the tach? I just finished my upper 60k and found one plug I forgot to hook up which helped with some rough running and still have some to work on but I think she might do some good stretching her legs on the way to work tomorrow.

One issue I have is the tach is not registering anything. Any ideas?

Thanks.

cam sensor...if your car really doesnt want to start, especially after just running (while still warm), then its definettly the cam sensor (CID)

The car starts fine...that has not been a problem. The tach does not work and a I have another post in the drivetrain section with further details on running rough.

Where is the DIS ground? Would I have taken that off when doing the upper 60k? That would cause the tach to not operate?

The DIS module creates the tach signal using the cam and crank signals and the three coil signals.

It may be that the DIS has an internal failure or that the wiring harness plug is not making good contact.

I found today that my fuel gauge is not working either. The speedo moves and the temp gauge moves.

Does that help narrow it down more?

I don't think my auto headlights are working either.
