T-Bird wheels??

HI all! In my travels this past week on my way to Cleveland OH I noticed a 2nd gen SLO broke down on the shoulder. I noticed something"funny" about the wheels. When coming back through i saw they were T-Bird wheels. The 15"ers that looked like the 93 Cobra wheel... Didn't know they would fit....

t- bird and SHO wheels are interchangeable granted you haven't upgraded your brakes. The popular cobra-R type replica rims were actually first incarnated as SVT t-bird rims.

Ah ha! I almost bought a set of those SVT 'Bird rims. AutoKrafters used to come to Ford Carlisle in Pa. He had some one year, and my Step dad just bought a 97 4.6 'bird. We got some SWEET deals from them. One time he had bare GT40p heads like dirt cheap (If I remember correctly I got a set for under $100)

The 15" T bird rims will fit over the "95" brake upgrade,,that's the 11" rotors. Some are 6.5" wide, as opposed to the 6" basket weaves.

SHOnuff, what is the color you painted those? If I can score this Black '91 I've been waiting on the wheels need freshening up. I dunno if I want to do the original silver or the grey. I also noticed a couple of other folks with grey wheels. What color?
