They are usually confused with the 26mm rear bar. There is a 25mm front police bar though, but its too stiff to use with even a 26 mm rear bar.

No, there is (always has been) a 25mm rear bar on gen2 police package cars. It's roughly .980" thick (vs 1.025" or so for a 26mm)

I saw that on Ebay also.

I guess it is either a 29mm ( do they even exsist ) Or a 26mm bar.

And for the record, I have a 24/26 combo and love it.

Whether it's worth it or not depends entirely on the rest of the suspension setup and whether or not it's not doing something that you want it do. Putting in a 25 or 26mm rear bar could make the car difficult (or even dangerous) to drive depending on the rest of the suspension.

What do you want to accomplish by putting in a stiff rear bar? What's the rest of your suspension setup like, i.e., front bar, springs and struts?

The rest of the suspension is currently stock. I just did the 96 Brake upgrade. I believe in the Make it Stop Make it handle, Make it fast rule(to an extent). So I'm now trying to get better handling. I thouight at least it would be a good place to start.

I have a Koni/Eibach setup, with 23/26mm setup on my 95 ATX. Works great. Oh yeah, since you have an ATX, get HyperMikeD's solid motor mounts. I can't stop talking about these things.

Do you know how big your front bar is? With stock springs, especially if they're old, and a light front bar a 25/26mm rear bar may make it a lot more oversteery (which can be bad) than one might like, especially on the street in slippery conditions.

I don't know for sure. It's just a get one now for cheap to put on later. I can get one for like $20. It's just the first step in many. Would I need to upgrade the front one at the same time too then?
