sway bar bracket bolt... HELP ME

i am upgrading to a 26mm rear bar with tpr bushings and i cant get the stock one out. endlinks are out but the sway bar bracket bolt will not budge anymore..

this is how far i got it out
and then it started getting so tight this happened twice.


they have soaked in pb blaster and still wont tighten nor loosen. any advice i have no access to air tools at this moment.

Use and impact socket and breaker bar but you might end up breaking the bolt. Do you have access to a torch?

possibly i think my dad has one but he wont answer his phone... last thing i want to do is break the bolt..

Keep soaking it in PB Blaster and then tighten the bolt again and try to loosen it, keep doing that until it comes out.

i cant even tighten it back! its like it siezed while i was backing it out. i just got the map gas torch so. we will see what happens

Soak it, let it sit for a couple hours. Or yeah, the torch works as well.

i was wounded, but my buddy liquid wrench, map gas, and blood came through. still have my reputation of zero broken bolts! :woohoo:.

Try keeping that reputation in Minnesota. Impossible.

I get broken bolts from fastening my seat belt.
