This is an instresting idea I hatched while installing my new aftermarket radio. (jvc kd-hdr20, cheap but I love it). Can the radio cage fit where the a/c controller goes and can the a/c unit go down where the radio used to be? I've done a little searching on the subject and I have not seen it done before. I'm pretty sure my radio wires would reach up there but I don't know if my a/c wires and tubes can reach down in the radio pocket. I was looking at the old ford radio and the old soft button a/c unit and they appear to be just about the exact same sizes.

Unfortunately I do most of my posting from my itouch while sitting in the garage or by/in the car. So doing anything takes alot of work. I do not want to put my priceless laptop in the garage or car. Sorry, I'll try harder to use search from here on out.

It's much nicer than reaching way down to changed the volume. :)

Any tips on making the EATC fit/look better?
