Ground COntrol has been an option for the SHO for a bit now. Only down side is I believe the spring perch is factory and not reienforced like the IPT version, so basically its just for height adjustment with not so good quality.

You get what you pay for.

NO NO NO, this is how rumors get started, it does not use the stock spring perch !!! This isnt some stupid 99 doller kit off of Ebay man, this is a racing kit from a racing company, check out their site......It comes with it's own springs perch that has to be welded on, it's made out of 1/4 anodized steel, the kit also replaces the stock crappy plastic bushings with a steel unit.

The kit also weighs about half the stock spring weighing in at 25 popunds compared to the stock springs at 40... I just started a section on this kit so go read up on it, It is not junk and I have installed this kit and It is the only spring\coil over kit that I would recommend.... burn_out

How do you anodize steel? Anodizing is a hardening process for aluminum.
I suppose next he's going to tell us it isn't a cheap ass setup as well....
Chris- get facts before you post, you look like an ass...

yeah actually the lower perch has to be cut off and a new ring welded on that is what you are talking about. The Ground Control kit uses the OEM upper bearing and mounting plates. this is why we had to make our own and why our kit is more expensive...plus it isn't as expensive as other high end kits for a lot of imports ect. The OEM upper bearing plate and mounts were not designed to handle a load in the center where the small coilover spring will rest. Try it if you like, but I wouldn't trust it like that. IMHO

I personally don't understand why you think my kit is a rip off when I have seen a lot of similar kits for Nissan starting at $1500.

Don't worry Shawn, I got your back. Chris, please stop now. Have you ever seen IPT's set? Just compare it to the GC kit and the difference's are obvious. Until a company step's up and make a serious and worthy coilover kit (the GC kit is not one, and I can tell you when a company will make one - never) the IPT way is the only way. There is no way I would trade the IPT kit for the GC kit.

Chris-We`ve had about enough of you and these damn kits.Ground Control kits are dangerous, and faulty by design.I will not allow this thread to continue becasue i do not want anyone to get the idea that these are a good option. Also,i belive it was said that Ground Control doesn`t make a Tauri kit anymore.

Shotime1991-I apologize to you, this is unfair to your question. Please start a new thread if you need more info.
