The component in question is more accurately called an "anti-sway bar." The term "sway bar" is really a shortened version of the true function of the part.

Actually, they're called "anti-roll bars." But when you say sway bar or anti-sway bar everyone knows what you're talking about, so it's not much of an issue.

Thanks all. My confusion stems from the manual which refers to it as the stabilizer bar and the endlink as just 'link'. Parts dealers use different variations for the same parts which adds further confusion for dolts like me. Just afraid to order the wrong parts.

An African or European Swallow?

the average cruising airspeed velocity of an unladen European Swallow is roughly 11 meters per second, or 24 miles an hour.

Also remember that there are TWO kinds of links on the bar....the end links (one at each end, duh!)which hold the bar to the suspension, and also a pair of of chassis (aka center) links, which hold the bar to the underbody. Make sure you and the parts guy communicate clearly about which set of links you are talking about! :thumb:

Now about them swallows.... :laugh_ti:
