I have 95 mtx with 83,000 and pretty sure all the suspension is orginal. I have inner tire wear, shaking over 60mph, and steering wheel not straight with a little play. I have searched and read a bunch on the forum, still haven't found what I'm looking for.

I plan on doing all the suspension work at once and getting new tires. I don't want to lower it or get a stiffer ride - just an improved ride from what I have now.

From your all your experiences. What commonly needs to be replaced. Which bushings, inner and/or outer tie rod ends. It just seems like it could be so much. I'm just looking for what I'll probably need.

One more question if the sway bar end spin without loosening are they bad. I read that on shotimes and was wondering... I thought they were just a ball in a socket and are free to spin.

Thanks for any imput on what I might need to tighten up my loose SHO.

Your car maybe out of alignment, your tie rods sound like they may be worn. To check jack your car up so your wheel is off the ground and pull on the wheel at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions check for play and strange noise. To check the balljoints do the same at the 12 and 6 positions.
You say all the suspension work. All is a very large amount just want to narrow it down a bit? Are you thinking springs struts?
If you are going to do the springs and struts you may as well get new strut mounts and bearings too.
The sway bar endlinks will spin in there but its not a good idea. If they are loose and have play then they are toast.

I am planning on getting it aligned after it tightened up a bit and get new tires. The plan is to do the struts and keep the original springs and also get new mounts and bearings. I already know my tie rods are worn from the side to side play, but how do I know if it is the inner or the outer. The ball joints don't seem to be bad, so I'll leave those for another day. So which bushings should I plan on replacing? Is there any other misc. think that I should think about while I'm doing this?

Tire wear and non-centered steering wheel = alignment

Tire shake = wheel balance

Steering wheel play = worn tie rods, tie rod ends or loose coupling on the steering shaft.
