i'm stuck. everyone here says that kyb's suck. i can get kyb's on my discount for pretty cheap. or, i can go with monroe's. we deal with all oreily's nationwide, and we get a discount there too.

so, it's a toss up between kyb's and monroe's. please, shoforum.... make my decision for me.

Get the Monroes. They will last longer. Just dont lower them too much.

The KYB's have a shorter housing. Pretty stiff too, but this is a car you drive everyday right? They wont last.

yes, i drive the car everyday. i've got a set of eibach springs sitting in my garage waiting to go on, but i want to get everything together and do it all at once.

I have had very good luck with the menroes/eibachs. I think you will be pleased with the combo.

We have the KYB's on dads 95 ATX with moog CC. The only thing I noticed is, it rides stiff. Not horrible, but just a little firm. I'd say no worse than my tokico/eibach.

From what I understand the KYB's are good at first but wear out quickly. Especially when combined with lowering springs. Koni's are the best but pretty pricey. Eibachs/Monroes seem to be a pretty good compromise as long as you don't cut too much off the springs.
