As the topic states, the rpms surge from 500-1500 when I let off the gas at 35mph or faster. Usually, if I don't gas or brake, the car will stall and die.

I replaced my IAB today, so that's not the problem. I also unplugged my Pro M 80mm MAF, and the car ran fine, no surging/stalling. Does this mean that my MAF is bad, or that a sensor is bad?

I'll run my codes and try a different MAF tomorrow, but does anyone have any ideas in the meantime?

Carefully inspect for any air leaks in the intake between the MAF and the throttle body.

Since you already tried my favorite suspect (the IAB), I would assume that the computer is unable to properly measure the actual volume/mass of air being supplied to the throttle. That means that there is either unmetered air (a leak) or that the meter (MAF) is sending the wrong signal or the computer is receiving an incorrect signal (electircal wiring fault).

The stock MAF elements can be easily cleaned. Perhaps the element in your aftermarket MAF can also be cleaned.
