I'm replacing the subframe bushings when I replace my clutch, and I understand that there are two subframe bushings (front and rear?) on each arm of the subframe. The Ford parts guy I spoke with says that the rear bushing is the one that takes the most abuse and the one he sells the most, and thet he almost never sells the front bushing. Can anyone validate whether what he's telling me about relative wear and tear is right? It's not a ton more money to do these front bushings, but if I can avoid an unnecessary replacement and save a hundred bucks, that would help me. But I don't want to be foolish either.

Advice please?

Yea subframe bushings are an easy fix, Took me honestly about 5 hours with taking my sweet time. and the results are just phenominal, when my friend with a bone stock 95 MTX drove it he said "Its like it has ESP now, it like turns before I've hardly even thought about turning the wheel"
