I need to replace my struts all the way around. I also need new tires. My question is can I replace the struts two at a time like I will be doing with my tires? I have a vibration in my front (at least I think it is the front, 1 tire on back is crappy) and I was thinking of replacing those first. I have had my car checked out and he couldn't find anything wrong as far as suspension, rack and etc. Thanks for any help/imput you can give me.

after you replace your struts just remember to get an allignment. tires should be fine. but id reccomend doing all four at once. the quickstrut would be a good option

I don't see any problem with replacing just the front now and the rear later. When you do the front just make sure you replace the mounts and bearings also and depending on the condition of the spring isolaters you may need to replace those also. The monroe quick struts are a nice option but they sit a little high in my opinion.

It,s okay to replace individual struts ,you do not have to replace all at once.If you want to do 2 at a time ,do the rear ones first,as the stiffness in the rear suspension (springs rate, sway bar diameter) tunes the amount of push(understeer) in your front end.Same thing with the tires, replace the rear first!Doing the front first is an old wives tale. Also do the mounts while you are there, and new springs are not a bad idea too.Moog cargo springs are dirt cheap(the most expensive i have seen them full price was 74 bucks for a pair)Zach sell those sensatracs too em!!!If I remember correctly the PN # is cc 859 heres a good link to help ya out .http://hosting.superhighoutput.com/notsoslowsho/moog_cc_springs.htm

Thanks to everyone who has answered. My reason for asking is that I don't have the funds to do them all at once, but I know they need to get done. I am having a shop do them for me. He is charging me $80 per set to put them on. He is someone I trust to do the job right and not to take advance of me, plus he worked on the car when the po had it. This is what he specializes in. I have gone to him before for other cars that I have owned. I have a tranny place I trust, now all I need is to find a place that will know what they are doing to do engine work for me when I need it. Lol

Yes there are, but most of them live at least 4 hours away from me. I live in the middle of LA and SF, so it's not a day trip for me to get to them or for them to get to me. That is where the concern of finding someone to work on my car comes from. My nephew no longer wants to deal with issues on my car. Lol
