Hi y’all. I have a 2011 non pp car. It’s my daily driver 50 miles round trip to work 4 days a week. I’m looking to keep the suspension stock but ford no longer offers shocks and struts for this car. I’m looking for a suitable replacements that will meet or the exceed oem parts. Really want to stay away from anything too radical and stay close to factory ride. Does anyone have any recommendations on similar setups that they like? Thanks!

The struts and shocks may still be available as Motorcraft parts. Do you know which suspension you have, A,B,C,D or E?

Thanks for the response. Honestly, I’m not sure lol. The part numbers for the struts are: AST-476 & 477.

Upon further research, I believe it’s a D. Why are finding parts for this car such an enigma, lol. I’d rather be wrenching than researching.

The Motorcraft struts may or may not be the same as the OEM struts. I believe the letter designation has to do with the last letter of the part number on the strut. Of course, I could be wrong about that.

The part number for the rear shock is ASH1255.
Description: Fits Rear; w/ Suspension C
or Rear; w/ Suspension A; w/ Suspension B; w/ Suspension E

I will be the black sheep here and say you can get a set of Monroe's front and rear easy enough. Said its a daily and not trying to sport it, they will get you by and be easy to source. for my 2010 the front Monroe strut #'s 72532 & 72533 front strut caps i was able to source ford without issue # MTC AD1076 will need 2 of those. Rear Monroe shocks # 5648 , I do not have the part number handy for the rear shock insulators but I would change those too. Then don't tell anyone you put Monroe's in it and drive on down the road. I am happy with my ride quality but I'm that odd ball here who likes to ride on the interceptor wheels with 255/55R18 tires on them. Side note, those suspension parts and tires are on my 2010 with H&R lowering springs and I have not been unhappy with my daily driver

What, there are 5 different suspensions for the car?!?!?! Wow. I'm getting closer to the point of update/replacement due to age and mileage, and guess I am going to need to do some digging to determine what these all mean. . . . This car, sometimes. . . . . Ugh.
