I need some extra steel to squeeze the bushing in the LCA. My strut rod is "telescoping". :( Anyway, I know how to get a rear one.. ;) But the fronts are welded. Could I try to use another concave one facing the same direction on top of that one? Would keep it the same thickness, so I wouldn't mess up my alignment, but would that be enough you think?

I wanna fix this today, but don't want to take it apart twice.. :)

the best way is to see if anybody has got a replacement in stock. that is the only way to assure that you are not changing your caster angle by moving the LCA forward or back any. If you have a washer laying around you should be able to double them up on which ever side looks like its crushed more, but you make need a washer on both sides depending on how crushed they are. also make sure that you are not missing a washer and the bushing is riding up the strut rod.

keep in mind this problem you are having is typically due to the bushings being too tight in the first place

Well I know I didn't miss one, :) and it was fine for a while, but just moving the car forward and backwards with my own hand, I can feel it moving around in there.

you do have both washers on right? There can only be 2 things going on here. either your missing a washer or the bushings are crushed and need to be replaced.

Yea, they're both there.. they just don't seem to fill up that hole in the lca as much as yours do... I'll snap a pic here in a few.. They just don't seem as fat as the others. I can see from the backside of the rear washer, that its sitting against the arm. And the bushings "leading edge" is "level" with the shoulder of the arm where the threads stop.... I can't crush it anymore.. :(

If that makes any sence.. :)

Ok.. since I have 2 sitting next to each other, I looked at both....

Here is the 92... with the "new" lca's...

P1060897

P1060900

I would imagine that shiny line (not the far left, but the one next to the LCA) is what is squeezing, and or moving and causing the movement.. thats where i can feel it when I push the car back and forth... that washer, getting closer. then farther away from the LCA... Almost looks like it shrunk or something.. I dunno.. I don't know if I have a pic of them when I got em..

P1060901

And here is the 93's with its stock setup...

P1060902

P1060905

Call me crazy, but the entire arm, and bushing is larger...

the washer in your last pic is your answer. the really thick heavy duty washer in your last pic in not in your previous pics. either double up washers to get close to that thickness or buy a couple flat washers and drill them out to that size to shim it tight.

it is tough to see in my pic but I also have that thick washer in the front side of my strut rod bushing.

on second note looking at the pic of my car. my god everything is covered in brake/metal dust from my rotors wearing away. These pads are ripping the rotors to shreds... That was all clean less than 1000 miles ago when I installed those rotors

I love it.
