Hey guys, I need someone to tell me how to install the adjustable strut rods from rock auto(pics would help) or probably even better, where can I get some standard ford strut rods. I ordered new lower control arms and new moog bushings for the frame part of the strut rods only to find out that the control arm side of the strut rod was rusted down skinny(MN). The only strut rods I can find are the adjustable ones and it seems like the one washer they send is almost too big, it almost slides over the whole rod and the moog washers were made for stock rods and don't seem to work either. I guess I would rather get OE strut rods. Any advice? I'm going to work and I'll check in tomorrow.

Here's a good write up from another shoforum member. He has a picture of the spicer strut rod (which I think they sell on rockauto) next to a rusted up stock one.

Hey, why haven't you come out to any of the Minnesota SHO Club stuff??? We might be doing something Saturday. Check out Minnesota SHO Club

Perfect! exactly what I need. I was thinking the nuts were replacements on the ends(?) Now I'm not so worried. As for the club meets, I work shift work and only get 2 weekends off a month, plus I live in I-falls. I'm hoping to look you guys up eventually though. Thanks again for the help.
